The integumentary system is made of both living and non-living cells and forms a protective covering on the outside of the body. The Integumentary systems is made up of skin, hair, and nails. It covers your body and helps you maintain homeostasis. The skin helps you regulate your body temperature and helps get rid of wastes. The hair helps you keep out particles and also help regulate your body temp. Your nails protects your fingertips and toes from all sorts of things.
